Borderlands, the half first-person shooter and half loot-based role-playing game, has broken the 2 million sales mark according to Take-Two and the NDP Group. The title, which shipped for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 last October, surpassed a publishing milestone in December, toppling one million units sold cumulatively in North America according to the NPD Group, which tracks videogame software sales.
In addition, Take-Two, parent to publisher 2K Games, said earlier this month that Borderlands has sold more than two million copies globally since its release.
Wow, that’s pretty good. Admittedly i’ve taken this game quite lightly. Anyone here played it? Worth a play?
