Gamers seem to be reluctant in support Sony’s upcoming motion controller, but the development community is excited as ever. According to MVC, EA is working on a few games which will launch alongside the motion controller. So far, 13 games have been confirmed for launch but other developers including David Cage, the boss at Quantic Dream, said the studio is interested in experimenting with the PS3 motion controller, especially in with more mature games.
Speaking with Destructoid, Cage said the motion controller will help create a new way of playing games. Quantic Dream is the studio behind the upcoming PS3 exclusive Heavy Rain. Speaking to MVC, EA’s Jens Uwe Intat said both Sony’s and Microsoft’s motion controllers will allow for new gaming experiences for existing players, but the controllers will also introduce new people to gaming. Essentially, he believes these motion controllers will do for Sony and Microsoft what the Wii and Wii remote controller did for Nintendo.
I can’t wait for these controllers, I think they look amazing, and like a not of fun! Their sensitivity looks great, I don’t have any complaints about these, I think they will sell really well, for already ps3 fans and also for people that don’t really play and arnt to good using the standard controller, they can have fun wavin their arms around. I like it is a win-win situation for Sony and their gamers.
^same here , it will either be an epic win for sony or fail , natal is like that
There’s rumours the controller will be called Arc.
lunch them soon. Can’t wait to get my hands busy.
Have they signed up developers that had made stuff for the wii? Hopefully not, otherwise a wave of crap games will be set loose
