In a message posted on the official UK Final Fantasy XIII website, Motomu Toriyama has stated that the International version of the upcoming Square Enix title is “finally complete.” Unfortunately, the game won’t be available to purchase until March 2010, when the game is officially released in Europe and North America. Currently, the developers are waiting for approval on the final version of the game before the disc goes into production.
Full message:
Dear gamers in Europe,
FINAL FANTASY XIII overseas version is finally completed.
I am sorry for the long wait.
At present, members of the development team in Japan are on a New Year holiday while awaiting an approval for the master disc. The overseas version was developed simultaneously with the Japanese one as we wanted to ensure that it comes out as soon after the Japanese release date as possible.
yea neat , the only thing that will suck in the game is the voice acting , japan to english , why not make japanese lang an optional pick , i’d rather hear japanese and read english as subs
Admittedly, this is not my sort of game… i’ll pass on this as i have with the previous dozen titles.
Hurry up and relase, im sure its done by now. 🙂
