Yesterday, many websites reported that Sony reduced the number of consoles you can use your PSN-purchased games on from five to three. This was incorrectly reported, and was only a typo on Sony’s part. Content you purchase from the Store can be used on up to five PS3 consoles or PSPs (depends on compatibility). Some titles do still have restrictions, but these are clearly stated on the product information page.
There are two main types of sharable content:
- Network Content – once installed, it can only be used by one activated PlayStation 3 system per day and only by the account through which the Network Content was purchased. Network Content cannot be used on two different PlayStation 3 systems within a twenty-four (24) hour period.
- Local Content – once installed on a PlayStation 3 system by the account that purchased it, can be accessed by other accounts on that same PlayStation 3 system, but not usable from other PlayStation 3 systems.
don’t wanna loose anything , it would suck if it happens
