CD Projekt’s Tomasz Gop has revealed that a console-based version of PC RPG sequel The Witcher 2 is in the pipeline. Speaking to GRY-Online, Gop said that the developer is keen to get the game out on consoles too, though noted it’ll be a while before we see the title on store shelves, as there is still plenty of development time left on the project.
“Although PC is a certain choice we made regarding platforms for The Witcher 2, we also want to release the console version,” he said. “However, please do not expect the game too soon,” Gop warned. “The Witcher 2 is still deeply in the development stage and as it is huge and complex, there are still many, many hours of work in front of us.”
The Witcher 2 was unveiled for the first time earlier this week in leaked video form.
