If you have experienced issues with playing games after installing firmware 3.00, then you are not the only one. There has been numerous reports of game freezes when playing Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and other titles. Though the issues seems to isolated, SCEA is actively looking into them. We can expect to see a minor firmware update within the next week or two to address the issue.

I have not any issues with this update yet..i guess im not using my ps3 anymore thats why
I have no issues either, none of my games froze
it frozed in uncharted its true ……. frozed on mine
my call of duty 4 has been freezing unusually, i think it was the update, it freezes so bad that the xmb or no buttons will work
My 2nd pad has stopped working? I doubt that thta has anything to do with it, but I can’t play uncharted (which I rented!)
I’ve had game freezes with other games too, including NHL 3 on 3 hockey. Usually when switching between game and in-game XMB.
man to be honest i thought that firmware was gonna be like the pwn of all firmwares !! but its cheezy nothing more ..
good thing i didn’t install it earlier. waiting for bug fixed update.
