Earlier this week we featured an article with some Japanese adverts for the PS3 Slim. Today, SCEA unveiled some more adverts targeted at the US market. The new ad campaign uses the tagline “It Only Does Everything” and we have two of the adverts to show you below. The new adverts launch on 1st September, when the PS3 Slim hits stores in Europe and North America.
The adverts were created to highlight the lower $299 price tag and all the features the PS3 provides, from the Blu-Ray player to the PlayStation Network and Video Download Service. We know the PS3 doesn’t do everything we need (such as cross-game voice chat, VidZone for the US, and more), so the adverts aren’t exactly true, but that’s what advertising is all about.
As for the UK, the adverts are already live and will run throughout September. In October and November, new adverts will launch featuring the likes of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves as well as EyePet and SingStar.
