A 250GB PlayStation 3 Slim console has been discovered on the FCC site. The new model, CECH-2000B, is different to the model announced yesterday at GamesCom, which is model number CECH-2000A. The only difference we can see is that it features a bigger hard drive than the model coming out in September.
Sony tried to hide under a company called Sand Dollar Enterprise, Inc. of 1518 Ascension Drive in San Mateo CA. Sand Dollar Enterprise, Inc is represented by SCEA’s General Council, Riley Russell. This house is actually a private residence, but whomever lives here filed the documents with the FCC, most likely on the behalf of Sony, as they would be much harder to find with a different FCC ID (XCE) than that of Sony (AK8).
This means that some time in the future (for probably a premium, maybe $349 / €349 or so), a new PS3 Slim may come out featuring a 250GB HDD, possible sometime before Christmas?

no need to buy that , if u can already upgrade your HD with the slim , i hope its like the big one , unless it became like the 360 where you have to buy an exclusive peace to upgrade your hd which costs billions 😛
Hope it has more than just a upgraded hard drive cus the slim is a bad deal
Whats the point if u can upgrade the HDD anyway? Does anyone know what the max size HDD you can put in a ps3 is?
@kite the hard drive on the slim is upgradable. It sits under the Blu-Ray drive.
320hdd i think
I Think That The Big PS3 Is Better And More Beautiful Than The Slim PS3
