Sony has announced that they are planning to release the 1Seg Tuner for the PSP, allowing you to watch digital TV using your PSP. The device will attach on to the PSP’s USB port like the Go! Cam and the GPS transceiver. The only drawback is that the tuner will be exclusive to the new slim PSP model (PSP-2000). The 1Seg tuner is expected to launch in Japan on September 20th for JPY 6,980 (approx USD 57, GBP 28).

Im happy to here that, but what about the present PSP? Will there be a TV tuner for it?
It is very unlikely. But it would be nice. I wonder if it will ever even be released outside Japan. Still waiting for the GPS to reach the UK.
